Dorothy Erickson has three businesses.
Dorothy Erickson is an author, art critic, curator and jeweller who exhibits internationally. She is also an Expert Examiner for the Federal Government for portable cultural heritage. She is the author or editor of a number of books and contributed chapters to others as well as writing on the decorative arts since the 1970s. She curates exhibitions, some of which have travelled overseas. She is an honorary research associate of the WA Museum.

Dorothy Erickson Design undertakes interior and landscape design.

Erickson & Taylor undertakes art, design and heritage work including portable cultural heritage, Conservation Plans, Heritage Assessments and Municipal Inventories. These are undertaken in conjunction with appropriate architects or other conservation professionals either as principal or as an associate.
